Beaches nearby
Playa Blanca is close to several different beach options, so it is easy to choose between a central beach stop, a quieter stretch, or a longer walk along the coast.
Getting around by bus
Lanzarote buses are called guaguas. For the latest departure times, route changes, and fares, check IntercityBus Lanzarote before you travel rather than relying on an old timetable.
The Playa Blanca bus station is the main starting point for local and island routes. Route 161 is the useful airport connection, while routes 60 and 62 connect with Arrecife. Route 30 is the local circular service around Playa Blanca.
A few practical ideas
The seafront promenade, marina, beaches, and evening venues can be combined into an easy day-to-night plan. If you are travelling further around Lanzarote, check the last return bus before leaving Playa Blanca.
Playa Blanca also has a ferry connection to Fuerteventura, making Corralejo a possible day-trip option. Check the operator timetable and allow time for boarding before making plans around a crossing.
